Policies and Procedures

Our Service Guarantee

We at The Salon South make it our mission that every client who visits our salon leaves feeling and looking beautiful.  In the event that you are not completely satisfied, please let us know at the time of service or within 48 hours after your service has been performed. We will happily provide a complimentary one time redo within one week of your service.

Level System for Stylists

Our level system for our stylists is based on each stylists education, experience and demand. Prices listed for each service are a base price and can be further discussed at the time of consultation. If you are a new customer and are not sure of what services are necessary for your desired look, book a complimentary consultation to talk about which services may suit you best. 

 

Refunds

Due to the nature of our industry, and that all services require time, we do not issue refunds. However, we  will be more than happy to schedule a corrective service free of charge.  If the stylist did what the client requested and simply doesn't like the outcome, we still want the client to be happy, but  there will be an additional charge.

 

Right to Refuse Service

The Salon South reserves the right to refuse service to anyone demonstrating inappropriate behavior to any member of our staff or other customers.

 

Return Policy

We are happy to return any retail products you purchased within 14 days of original purchase. A salon credit will be issued to be used for another product purchase. 

 

24 Hour Cancellation Policy

We understand the unforeseen circumstances happen and you may need to cancel or change an appointment with us.  To save an appointment time, credit card information will be due at the time of booking.  In order to respect the time of both our guest and our staff, we ask that you notify us of a cancellation or reschedule no less than 24 hours prior to the appointment. This allows us ample time to fill the appointment. Should the client cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours, a fee (50% of service missed) will be due. Should a client no show with no phone call a 100% fee will be due. The card used to hold the appointment will be applied for these fees. 

 

Late Arrivals

Please be courteous to your artist and other clients. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment we MAY have to reschedule your appointment and assess a fee (25% of serviced missed) for the services you were scheduled for.

 

Children in the Salon

All Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult while the consultation is performed. If a child under the age of 18 is receiving a chemical service, a consent form must be signed prior to the service being performed.  Please make sure if you bring your child to the salon while you are having a service performed that they are respectful to the salons belongings and other clients in the salon.

Lost Goods or Damaged Clothing
We try our best to make sure no personal items are left behind. We also strive to make sure we don’t damage your clothing while you are here. We are not responsible for any bleached or colored clothing that may occur during your service.

 

Gift Certificate Policy

  • Gift certificates are valid for up to 3 years from the date of purchase and MUST be presented at the time of service

  • Copies of gift certificates are not acceptable

  • All gift certificates are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash

  • Gift certifiicates are valid at The Salon South only for all products and services available
